Venerable Khen Rinpoche Sonam Gyurme is a prominent Nepalese Buddhist monk from the Tamang community, known for his strong advocacy for peace, ethical living, and women's rights. He received teachings, empowerments and trainings of Buddhist practices from renown masters His Eminence Dinchhen Rinpoceh a Siddha and His Eminence Rinzin Dorje Rinpoche a Mahapandita and great zogchen master of this era.  As Chairperson of Dharma Television HD, Venerable Khen Rinpoche  leads a global platform for broadcasting Buddhist teachings, meditation, and inspirational talks. He also founded the Dharma Ideal Campaign to foster a morally grounded community and the Sonam Foundation to provide aid and support to those in need.
